Club Statement - New Manager

Bedfont & Feltham FC are pleased to announce that Adam Bessent has been appointed as First Team Manager.
Adam was with former CCFL side Staines Lammas, and made a great impact with them during his time spent there.
Adam has kindly written a few words for us:
I'm delighted to be appointed the new First Team Manager of Bedfont & Feltham. I've always admired the setup of the club as an opponent over the last 3 seasons and now I'm excited to be a part of it.
After some positive talks with Brian and then the committee over the last week or so I felt that me, my staff and the players I will be bringing into the club could achieve success together. The ambition of the club matches my own and we will leave no stone unturned in trying to fulfil those ambitions.
We have a lot of work to do between now and 4th August but I am looking forward to building a team that the club can be proud of.

Wembley lights up for The Yellows

Ahead of this weekend’s Emirates FA Cup Final, Wembley Stadium has lit up its iconic arch in the colours of all 737 teams.

737 teams from Step 6 of the National League system through to the Premier League took part in the 137th edition of the world’s oldest domestic cup competition, involving over 11,000 players and resulting in over 3,000 goals. Days before the showpiece Final which will be played at Wembley Stadium connected by EE, the stadium’s arch and big screen lit up to celebrate every one of the clubs, from the 370 who started in the Extra Preliminary Round in early August through to the two Premier League finalists who will be battling it out for the trophy this weekend.

This season’s Emirates FA Cup Final kicks off at 17:15 on Saturday 19 May and will see Antonio Conte’s Chelsea and Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United go head to head for the coveted silverware.

It's A Wrap!

The Yellows (finally) played their last match of the 2017-18 season on Tuesday evening (8th May) at Chessington & Hook United.

This was after no-less than three failed attempts due to weather issues. The hot Bank Holiday weather ensured the pitch at Chalky Lane had dried sufficiently to let the match go ahead.

Ed Scurfield opened the scoring for the Yellows early in the match, but this was soon cancelled out by strikes from the hosts.

The half-time score was 2-1 and 'Chessy' added a third in the second half. They did pay compliment to us, stating on their Twitter feed that we put in a "very spirited performance" and that we could have got something from the game as they failed to take numerous chances.

There are a few matches still to be played, and some in the hands of the league's management committee for various reasons, so we won't know our final league position just yet.

This was also Dan Huxley's final match as manager for the Yellows.  He said "A tough season, a little up and down and not quite as clear cut as we would have hoped, but we plugged away until we got it right eventually! Now time for a rest whilst considering the future."

Keep an eye on our website, and on social media for updates during the summer.

Thank you for your support over the past season, and we hope everyone enjoys the summer break.

Season 2018-19 starts on 4th August so not too long to wait!
